Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 23, 2026. Learn how DudeMath protects your privacy with client-side execution.

Overview

1. Zero-Server Privacy Commitment & Client Execution

Your mathematical inputs and calculations remain strictly on your local device.

At DudeMath (accessible at https://dudemath.me), protecting user privacy is fundamental to our engineering philosophy. This Privacy Policy details the types of information handled by DudeMath and how user data is protected.

Zero-Server Privacy Guarantee: All calculations performed across our engineering, physics, mathematics, civil, and mechanical calculators execute 100% locally inside your web browser (client-side execution). Your numerical inputs, formula parameters, unit choices, and output values are never transmitted to any backend server, logged, stored in remote databases, or shared with third parties.

AdSense & Cookies

2. Google AdSense & Third-Party Cookies

Required legal disclosures regarding advertising networks and cookies.

DudeMath may display non-intrusive advertisements served by Google AdSense and third-party advertising partners to sustain open, free access to our computational suite:

  • Cookies & Web Beacons: Third-party vendors, including Google, utilize cookies to serve contextual advertisements based on a user's previous visits to our platform or other websites.
  • DART Cookie: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve targeted ads to users based on visits to DudeMath and other sites on the Internet.
  • Opt-Out Choices: Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ad Settings or via www.aboutads.info.

Server Logs

3. Web Server Access Logs

Standard edge infrastructure telemetry.

DudeMath uses standard CDN and static hosting access logs. These files record basic HTTP request metadata when visitors access the website, including IP address, user-agent string, date/time stamp, and requested static assets.

This technical telemetry is used exclusively for DDoS protection, infrastructure security, traffic optimization, and bandwidth management. It is not linked to any personally identifiable information (PII) or user calculation inputs.

User Rights

4. GDPR & CCPA Data Protection Rights

Understanding your privacy rights under international law.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), users possess explicit rights regarding personal data:

  • Right to Access: Request copies of personal data held about you.
  • Right to Erasure / Forgotten: Request deletion of personal data under statutory conditions.
  • Right to Object & Restrict: Limit how personal data is processed by online services.

Because DudeMath operates on a zero-server architecture with zero backend user databases or user accounts, we hold zero personal calculation logs or user identity records.
