By accessing or using the website at DudeMath (https://dudemath.me), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations, and acknowledge responsibility for compliance with local legal requirements. If you do not agree with any portion of these terms, you are restricted from using this site.

Engineering Disclaimer

2. Professional Engineering & Mathematical Disclaimer

Mandatory legal notice regarding calculation accuracy and professional engineering practice.

ALL CALCULATORS AND COMPUTATIONAL MODULES ON DUDEMATH ARE PROVIDED ON AN 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' BASIS.

DudeMath makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular engineering purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property.

Mandatory PE/CEng Independent Verification: Calculations generated by DudeMath are intended exclusively for educational research, preliminary design estimation, and academic study. They do not constitute certified engineering drawings or professional consulting advice. Final structural, electrical, mechanical, or safety-critical engineering designs must always be independently reviewed, calculated, and sealed by a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng).

Intellectual Property

3. License & Intellectual Property Rights

Permitted and prohibited uses of the DudeMath computational platform.

Permission is granted to access, evaluate, and print calculation results from DudeMath for personal, academic, educational, and internal engineering design purposes.

Under this license, you may not:

  • Systematically scrape, harvest, or extract formula data or static assets for commercial resale.
  • Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract proprietary source logic from compiled scripts.
  • Remove any copyright, trademark, or IEEE/ISO attribution notices from platform materials.
  • Re-host our web application engine inside an unauthorized iframe wrapper or proxy server.

Liability

4. Limitations of Liability

Scope of legal liability under applicable statutes.

In no event shall DudeMath or its contributors be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, structural failure, project delays, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the calculators on DudeMath, even if notified of the possibility of such damage.
